(accommodation in Apartment Attic)
Hi, I have been unable to find a link to feedback on your website but would like to let you know that we were extremely happy with the services we received from your company last month. Myself and my partner booked Apartment Attic in Prague on the 25th-28th September and also used your taxi service which was brilliant. We couldn't have been happier with the lovely apartment which we felt was a bargain. We thought that the apartment was stunning, well equipped, in a great location, absolutely spotless and had a balcony which was perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. We will be recommending this apartment to all of our friends and family who are planning to visit Prague in the future. The taxi service was very reasonably priced and reliable and we will definitely be visiting the apartment again as soon as we can afford it. Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Hope to book with you again soon. Kate Forman

Wishing you the best in everything!

Ráda bych poděkovala touto cestou za velice příjemný a pohodový pobyt v hotelu Kampa garden. Skvělé ubytování s velmi vkusným zařízením, čistota a vlídnost personálu. Bohatá snídaně nás nastartovala velice dobře k naąemu kulturnímu programu.Pár metrů od kaľdodenního ruchu a přitom tady jako v jiném světě. Vřele budu doporučovat a určitě se sem jeątě vrátíme!

(accommodation in Apartment U Novaku)
Thank you again for your kind and gracious service regarding our rental of Apartment U Novaku last week. The location was wonderful for all of our explorations, and the accommodations quite sufficient for our needs. We shall be sure to recommend to friends anticipating similar trips that they be in touch with you.

Happy New Year!

(accommodation in Apartment Attic)
The accomadation was excelant just as described in refeance and in great location within easy walking distance to all sights, bars, resaurants etc. The only slight problem was as our flight back to the uk was late evening we had nowhere to leave our bag it was only because the apt was not booked out for the next day that the owner allowed us to keep the keys untill later in the day

(accommodation in Apartment Rotunda)
Very good value for money. Nice and quiet place. Close to Charles Bridge and good clubs.

(accommodation in Apartment Rotunda)
Interior of the apartment is exactly as it is on the pictures - furnished to a very high standard everything was very clean and was quite romantic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Apartment is on a very quiet residential street with local bars and restaurants and it is very close to charles bridge and the old town. Cons: After staying 2 nights in a very well presented hotel near the Prague castle to go to a residential block on a very quiet residential street that is covered with graffiti I was very disappointed.

(accommodation in Apartment U Novaku)
Dear Jan Mestic, I wanted to thank you once again for your assistance. Unfortunately I had no opportunity to do it earlier. Thanks to you and your company our stay in Prague was really marvellous. We enjoyed the appartment a lot! I'm sure it wasn't our last visit to Prague and next time we'll rent an appartment only in "TOPRAGUE". Sincerely your, Ekaterina Malykh.

(accommodation in hotel Veronas House)
We were very happy with our stay at Verona House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and of a good size. The location was fantastic, very close to the Charles Bridge so handy for all the sights but also very quiet. There is a lovely coffee shop right next door and a very nice restaurant about 20 feet away on the left. The Reception staff were always very nice and helpful. The breakfast food was varied and very fresh but I agree with previous comments about the breakfast lady who obviously has some control issues! The breakfast room becomes a wine bar later in the day and while this didn't disturb us, we and other guests didn't feel very welcome there. Overall we would return to this hotel and would recommend it to others.

(accommodation in hotel Green Lobster)
Although not found in any guide books, this is an excellent find!We stumbled upon it by chance when the Hotel Neruda (which we had booked and pre-paid) denied all knowledge of our booking!! The Green Lobster is a 4 star hotel and is in a beautiful old Prague building, there are approximately 10 rooms, with each one named after a composer. Our room was lavishly decorated with a 4 poster bed and a small terrace with exquisite views over the city and the surrounding forest. The buffet breakfast was also excellent. Its location is also perfect as it is only 5 minutes from the castle and 10 minutes from the Staro Meste (Old Quarter). The bathroom was large and comfortable, however there was only a bath with a shower attachment which some people may not like. This was a wonderful hotel with extremely friendly hotel staff. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Prague!

(accommodation in hotel Green Lobster)
We booked The Green Lobster as an Xmas present to each other & have just returned. If you contact the hotel they arrange a taxi transfer service to collect you from the airport & take you on the 15-20 minute journey to the hotel. The building itself is beautiful & when we were shown to our room (rudolph II) we thought we were in the wrong one as it was so huge it was like the honeymoon suite & we'd only booked a double! It has the original 15th century beams, an enormous bed with lovely drapes and co-ordinating furnishings & cushions. It had been very well designed and thought out. The bed was so comfy we overslept and when we popped into the breakfast area which is also a cafe bar we were going to buy something to eat. Even though it was 3/4hr after they'd stopped serving breakfast the waitress got us complimentary hot coffee & croissants. The staff were really helpful. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk around the corner then across the amazing Charles Bridge to the Old Town which we really recommend - (don't bother going to Wenceslas Square, it's a bit rough). Our fantastic stay in Prague was down to it being so full of history & that we stayed at The Green Lobster. We'll be back!

nice clean but basic a good location with a short airport transfer.only gripe eas constantly having 90% of the bar area being reserved even though we were guests.

A very resonably priced hotel but rather too far from the city to walk. Surounding roads rather steep. Breakfast was fair but the staff are friendly and helpful. Forget the taxi's as most of them are dishonest. The hotel is well served by an excellent bus service which links to the metro. Buy a day pass. The city is lovelly, but eat and drink off the main drag if you want quality and value for money.

(accommodation in hotel U sv. Jana)
Great value for money hotel very close to central attractions. Clean, bright and spacious rooms, very comfortable beds with duvets and pillows by Habitat. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Great little restaurant/pub around the corner. Tram and Metro stops nearby. All in all, a bargain for the price and I strongly recommend it.

Very clean (almost new), well located for walking or tram. Easy walk from Wenceslas Square. Very kind and knowledgeable staff: Shaka, Eva, and Theresa were perfect! They also had locked parking! A real find. Very quiet area.

(accommodation in U Suteru)
Accommodation at U Suteru made my visit to Prague most enjoyable. I stayed with two friends in a double deluxe room. The room was spacey and the hotel very conveniently located near old town, metro stations and tram stops. The breakfast was enough to get us through until lunch. The location was perfect and yet away from the noisy and crowded streets. We enjoyed staying at this hotel, but for anyone who has difficulties with steps, I would recommend to reconsider; there are flights of stairs to rooms and even steps to the bath. For others: I do recommend to book a room from U Suteru.

(accommodation in U Suteru)
Stayed here for 4 nts, booked based on reviews here, and weren't disappointed. Clean, spacious, comfortable, attractive and ideally located. Could walk to River, Restaurants and Clubs, and even to the castle if you're feeling fit,and can persude your companians to walk past the shopping opportunities in Wenceslaus Square. Room was for 3 adults, in a double and a sofa bed, had loads of space. Includes a safe in the wardrobe. Stayed in Room 12 on the first floor - only issue was that we left the windows open all night and were disturbed by noise from outside the first night at midnight with the dustcarts and some very rude English guest at another hotel in the early hours who was very impatient while waiting for them to answer the after hours doorbell. Why am I so embarrassed by my countrymen on holiday. Used the doorbell system at u suteru without problem. Ate downstairs one evening and loved the food, good prices too. Soup was especially fab. Have stayed in more expensive modern hotels in Prague but just love the ambience here and would definately use again

Took pot luck and booked this off the internet. An excellent location. Pleasant surprise - we had one of the cheapest rooms, which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast reasonable. We ate in the restaurant for dinner on two occasions - the food was pretty cheap, very well cooked and plenty of it. I cannot understand how some of the other reviewers of this hotel found the staff rude and unhelpful. We found them most charming - nothing was too much trouble. Although there was not a mini bar in the room, alcohol was available, and very reasonably priced from reception. We really enjoyed our stay here - we will be going back in December of this year.

(accommodation in hotel Trinidad)
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May 2007. We had a superior room with a view of the Prague castle. The view was splendid, and the room was very spacious with a large bathroom and a corner bath-tube. Tiled bathroom – very nice. The room also had AC, which was very comfortable. The castle view rooms also face traffic, and the windows are not sound proof. So if you have trouble sleeping at night, maybe you should go for an ordinary room. Our friends had one of these – also very comfortable. They had no AC, but because of very little noise they could sleep with the window open. Breakfast was nice, but nothing extraordinary. THe hotel is close to one of the bridges cross the Vltava (from this bridge you can see the Charles bridge), and from here it is a short walk to the old town square. There is no lobby, but reception is open 24 hours. We liked this hotel very much, and may consider staying here next time we go to Prague.

(accommodation in hotel Towers)
We really enjoyed our stay at Corinthia Towers. The hotel is really easy to find, literally just off the “Vysehrad” Metro stop. We got a 119 bus from the airport, and then used the metro to get to the hotel. From the outset we were impressed with the hotel; the cleanliness, excellent reception and rapid response to service requests (we needed a leaking shower head fixing). The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and stayed open from 0630 to 1100. We had great views of the city (22nd floor) and were pleased with the room (we got a free upgrade). We took our own coffee making stuff, as there is none in the room. I would recommend this hotel, even though it is not in the city centre; it is only 2 short metro stops from the city centre (we used a 7 day pass, about £7, which covers all Prague transport).
Starviagera, Los Angeles, California
(accommodation in hotel Towers)
We loved this hotel. The metro is right outside. The breakfast was one of the most splendid we have ever seen in this category. The rooms are not fantastic, but they are nice enough. Avoid the massage/beauty services, expensive and very bad. The concierge services in the other had were outstanding. We loved this city and highly recommend it. You also must try to se Eger and Carlsbad. What a lovely country!

Nine of us stayed here for 4 days. Every aspect was great. No problems in getting to central Prague, bus right outside hotel then just 8 stops to centre of prague. Food in hotel good, varied and quite reasonable. Casino bar open until 4am!! Would definatly stay there again.

(accommodation in hotel Three Storks)
Have just returned from a 3 night stay which was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect (not as out of the way as I had thought but no traffic noise) and the knock down rates available at the moment made it a total bargain (make sure you shop around). Our room was a deluxe double which was enormous, in the eaves and had a view of the castle. The shower was particularly good. We also looked in a standard double which was still great and bigger than the photo suggested. The hotel was quite empty so breakfast was mostly waiter service rather than the published buffet. The food was delicious with enormous portions and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet on Sunday morning (when there were more guests) was fab. Really can't understand why more people aren't staying there as the hotel looks even better than their published photos show. Highly recommend a stay here.

We check many prague hotels pages and read comments of visitors, and chosen U Tri Bubnu. Many Peoples are right, situation was great, staff was frienly and helpful. Hotel locate heart of old town, few minutes walking of Charles Bridge or Venachles Square. Room is fantastic (15), large attick room. That was behind many steps, but that's no matter, we walked a lot of those five days what we stayed there. The breakfast was homely, coffee was best what we have on our trips.

(accommodation in hotel Three Drums)
Great location, right on old town square. We were able to walk to the sights we wanted to visit, Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Municipal House. Our room (18) was spacious with beamed ceilings, large seating area and a six foot tub in the bathroom, which is rare and was very welcome after three weeks of travel. Breakfast was good and ready early for the start to our day. We used the car service to and from the airport which was reasonable and reliable. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and our room was made up daily with great care. When we return to Prague U Tri Bubnu will be our first choice as a place to stay.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful and spoke English. Breakfast in hotel was well presented (buffet style). Only downside was metal steps to access road to go to tram/metro; but no great problem. Would recommend ths hotel if you do not want a cnetral place to stay. Transport links good. Good value for money. It is also near Saska Arena for Ice hockey matches - we saw Sparta Prague play and enjoyed the experience. Prague is a lovley city. Would visit again.

We got the hotel from the Rick Steve's book. Overall, a great place to stay. The hotel is not in the city center, rather one subway stop out of the center in a nice residential neighborhood. We would stay there again if we return to Prague.

This is a fantastic hotel, it is about a 15 minute walk from the city centre and a couple of minutes by tram or metro. The rooms are first class and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

(accommodation in hotel Seven Days)
The hotel is in an ideal location. 2 minutes walk from 2 metro stations and tram lines. I had requested a quiet room as i had read reviews that some rooms can be noisey. We were given a lovely quiet room. The rooms are extremley elegant and clean and the beds and comfy. The breakfast catered for everyone and staff were helpful. My only grumble - I had looked for a long time for a hotel which had a Spa in the centre of the city, I thought the spa was included in the room price and it is not , it is 1000 chz / for 2 people for 2 hours (£25 aprox). This was disapointing as it would have been a treat after all the walking!

(accommodation in hotel Seven Days)
We felt very happy for our selection of this hotel. It was a hotel within walking distance from the museum metro station and 15 minutes walking from the centre. The check in staff was very helpful, the room was big and furnished nicely with a big bathroom, a safe and even an umbrella! The breakfast was included in the price and it was very good, with different things to choose from. The internet connection was free.

(accommodation in hotel Selsky dvur)
What brilliant value, a lovely old fashioned hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Great food, good ale & very comfortable rooms. It`s a bit out of town but don`t let this put you off as the public transport is fantastic. The bus stop is right outside the hotel & they run every 15mins until midnight, it`s so easy to get to the city centre in 20 mins. For the price we paid & the service we received I think we must be close to the bargain of the year. I will certainly see the selsky again.

It's out of the way, but worth it. 18th Century converted stable is beautiful both outside and in. Staff was very helpful and person at the front desk went to my room on two different nights. Once to ensure I connected to the internet correctly and the second was when I asked to get the reading light next to my bed changed. Bed was a large comfortable canopy type and there was plenty of space in the room. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room is cute and quaint. Dinner was excellent with a piano player playing both nights we were there. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel and takes you to a subway station in about 10 minutes. It took less than 25 minutes to get from the hotel to the center of Prague via bus and subway. Great stay and my wife immediately started hammering me about returning.

(accommodation in hotel Seifert)
Seifert comes highly recommended for anyone wanting a clean & comfortable stay! The rooms are spacious and warm with modern bathrooms. We found the reception staff friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was nice if you like beans and carotts. Shop around for restaurants as they vary in price a lot. We had some cheap meals and the food was lovely. Be aware they might stick an added charge on your bill if there is live music. Prague is a brilliant place! Lots to do and see. The Mini Eiffle Tower is worth a look but closed during week days!! The surrounding park is nice, some great kodak moments there. The castle is also nice to visit, we found the oldest pub in Prague not too far away. Enjoy Seifert!! It's very mellow yellow :-)
spatrick57, Detroit, Michigan
(accommodation in hotel Seifert)
We had a great stay at the Seifert. If this hotel was in the city center it would be perfect -- but then it would probably cost a lot more money! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, although a bit small. Most of the rooms overlook a courtyard so there is no street noise to deal with. I had no problem with the noise that other reviews have mentioned, but I can see that it would be a problem if there were very loud guests in the hotel. The breakfast was one of the better ones we had on our travels. The neighborhood the hotel is in looks a little rough but it seemed safe. A good thing was that food around there was much cheaper than in the city center. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and would absolutely go back again.

(accommodation in hotel Sax)
This is my 2nd time staying at Hotel Sax. The staff and accomodations are as wonderful as the first time I stayed. We were served complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea each day. The beds and linens were comfy; the bathrooms and the closet area were roomy. There are bath salts left so you can take a luxurious bath in their deep tubs. Also quite lovely were the double windows that opened to the street below. There's also complimentary internet access in the lobby from 7 am - midnight each day. It is quite close to the Malostranske namesti tram stop. There are lovely shops and bars in this area as well. We did a little pub crawl in that area that included a small bar across the street from the hotel, a wine bar down a bit further down the street then J.J.'s pub. Great food there by the way! There were a couple more spots that looked interesting but we didn't have time to hit them all. If I return to Prague, I would definitely stay with them again.

I lived in Prague for one year (1996-7), while teaching English, and so am very familiar with the city. I have returned three times on holiday, and have stayed each time at the Hotel Sax, most recently over Xmas 2003. It is very well situated, being very close to the castle, Petrin Park, Malostranska Namesty and Charles Bridge. It is also within easy walking distance (c.15-20 mins) of Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, The National Theatre and the Municipal House. It is a converted building, and has been tastefully refurbished and modernised. What was the courtyard has been turned into an atrium. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. On one side there are views of Petrin Park, and on the other side the Church of St. Nicholas and the castle. The staff are courteous and helpful, qualities not always found among Prague citizens. There is no restaurant, but breakfast is served in a pleasant breakfast room. Breakfast is adequate, although rather limited in range. The hotel is not as cheap as it used to be, but still represents very good value for this area. It is quiet and very secure, since it can only be reached by a short street which ends in a cul-de-sac, and goes past the American and German embassies, where all cars are stopped by the police, who maintain a 24 hour presence.

(accommodation in hotel Savoy)
This is a quality hotel slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Prague. 20 min taxi from airport and you're there. You can be at the Palace in 10mins and Charles bridge in 20mins - on foot. There is a tram stop right outside if you want to use that as propsed to walking. Rooms are lovely and spacious - separate shower and WC. Hotel seemed very quiet and staff were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was fab except dont expect the fry up to be hot - luke warm at best! This seems to be the way over here! A pianist entertains in the restaraunt and although we ate out , I d expect the food was very good and lunch and dinner. We stayed four nights - 3 would be plenty for this city. We got a decent price in Feb - its well worth it!

Stayed at the Savoy for 4 nights at the end of March 07. Staff were amazing (BA lost our luggage for 24 hrs and staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out, providing a hotel car to take us to get basic clothing etc). The room (upgraded to deluxe) was spotless and luxurious. Breakfast in the bedroom every morning was fabulous. Free minibar restocked daily, turn down service every evening and a bottle of complimentary champagne was delivered to the room on my birthday. Genuinely couldn't find anything to fault the Savoy. Very elegant and romantic hotel, worth spending the extra money for a very special experience.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel to reduce the noise from the trams out front. Clean, good location, would recommend for those that don't want to be slap bang in the centre of Prague but close enough not to have to walk miles to get there!

An excellent hotel with excellent friendly staff. The roomswere clean spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The dinner menu in the copernicas restaurant was reasonably priced (very good value when compared to an englsh restaurant of simalar standard)we`d paticulary reccomend the old bohemian cuisine. The hotel is a fair way from the centre but with excellent tram links and a tram journey which surely must be one cf the best in europe, taking in many of the sights along the way.we`have no hesitation in staying here again. The only drawback being that in the summer prague can get hot, and there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms.

The staff were friendly and professional. They were able to deal efficiently with any queries. It is clean and rooms are of good size and good heating. The beds are a bit lumpy but not bad for a good nights sleep. The separate bathroom is nice, but would have preferred a bath rather than a shower. There is a safe in the room which is free although it took a couple of minutes to work out how the locks worked! The tv does have a couple of english language channels, mainly the news. The health club is nice. The pool is cold though. Not bad for summer but not good for winter. We booked a massage for 800kc which was excellent. It lasted an hour and was a full body massage. Well worth the money. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast and does fill you up for a morning of sight seeing. Overall, would definately stay there again.

(accommodation in hotel President)
I have recently returned after spending three nights at the Hotel President with my partner. We had not been to Prague before and relied solely on the good reviews of the hotel on Trip Adviser. We are so pleased that we read the reviews, as we could not have picked a better hotel for service, friendliness, location and general ambience. It is sumptious without being pretentious and the hotel bar is a wonderful place to relax before going out for a meal in the evening. Not all of the staff speak English, but they are so friendly that this does not cuase any problem at all. We managed to have out breakfast every single morning with a window view of the river, which set us off for a great day. I cannot fault this hotel at all. It is a first class place to stay and so handy for Old Town Square, which is only a five minute walk. It is also nice and quiet and in a nice part of Prague, which is a bonus. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever lucky enought to go back to Prague.

Great location on the Vlata River, within a five minute walk to the Jewish Quarter and maybe a ten minute walk to the Old Town Square. There was no need to use public transit. Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, large comfortable, clean rooms. Free use of computers in lobby. Across the bridge from a public park which provided a great jogging course (very small fitness room at the hotel).

We stayed at the Prague Center from 22-25 Nov. The hotel room was a decent size and very clean, as was the bathroom. Didnt try the breakfast as my partner had spotted an Irish bar where he could get a vegetarian fry up and insisted we ate there! My only fault with the hotel is the distance from Old Town Square etc. We tended to spend most of our time here and in the Little Quarter so the next time we visit we would probably pick a hotel closer to these areas. But overall the Prague Center was very good value for money and I would recommend it.

We thoroughly enjoyed a mini break at the Popelka . It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and really does deserve it's four star rating . The bedrooms are spacious , meticiously clean and the beds were very , very comfortable . The range of breakfast fare was quite superb and very filling ! the staff were very friendly and helpful . Although a little way out of the city the number 19 and 39 tram offers frequent and speedy connections to all the main tourist attractions . Would we consider staying at this hotel again - most certainly YES !

We stayed at the Pav Hotel last week for three nights. The hotel is excellent, it is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are an excellent size with lots of space and very comfortable. The only thing they lack is tea and coffee making facilities. Staff at the hotel are polite and most are friendly. The hotel is well situated for seeing the sights, although you must be prepared for lots of walking, Prague being a walking city

We were postively surprised by this hotel. It is a new hotel and the lobby area is quite sparse. However, the rooms are well furnished, good sized and immaculately clean. Our room faced the garden courtyard and we had no problems with noise. The breakfast was better than we expected. Free internet access was a plus and the lady at the bar was very sweet. The location was terrific, within walking distance of all the major attractions. Would definitely recomend this hotel!

(accommodation in hotel Pariz)
Recently returned from a stay at the Hotel Pariz between Christmas and New Year. As soon as we arrived we knew we'd booked the right hotel - the building itself is a stunning example of architecture from the early 20th Century and the public areas of the hotel (lobby, cafe and restaurant) have been beautifully decorated in Art Nouveau style with great attention to detail. The staff were polite and friendly. We were particularly impressed by the staff in the Sarah Bernhardt Restaurant where we ate one evening. They were friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. The food was delicious and although relatively expensive I'd say it was definitely worth the money given the quality of the food and impressive service. This hotel felt like a real one off and the perfect place to stay in Prague. It really did make you feel like you had stepped back to a more stylish, elegant and less hectic time. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Prague and will stay again when we return.

Stayed at the Pariz over a long weekend in January. The hotel itself is in a prime position in the centre of the old town - you can walk to anywhere. It is also right beside one of the metro stations for anyone wanting to travel a bit further. The actual building is beautifully constructed in a baroque style, and the cafe Pariz is a lovely place for a chill out. Breakfast was also very good. My only complaint is that people don't really smile a lot. Saying that, I found that to be for everywhere in Prague - but I was a bit disappointed when I asked to use a computer with internet at the hotel which is advertised as part of the business centre and was told that nothing like that exists. All in all, a great place to stay - would certainly go there again!

I stayad at the Orion Flathotel for five nights in October with my husband and teenage daughter. Our flat was very clean and quiet and the desk staff were helpful and spoke good English. We had a one bedroomed apartment which consisted of a bathroom, a very large bedroom with double bed and a smaller room with a double sofa bed and dining table with the kitchen leading off it. The kitchen had adequate pots, pans and utensils but no kettle. (Fortunately we had read an earlier review to this effect and took our own.) The hotel is a fifteen minute walk to the Old Town but you can catch a tram or the Metro from Namesti Miru, five minute's walk away. You can buy tickets at the reception desk. The location is quiet but there are plenty of bars / simple restaurants in the surrounding streets. I'd recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

Very pleasant stay at the flathotel. Rooms are large, clean and very bright. Cleaning staff does a good job every day. Furniture is not of the best quality but is brand new and very clean. Staff at the main desk were very helpfull in directing us around and even ordered Prague Opera tickets online and had them delivered to the front desk. All concerns were answered very quickly. Only 1-3 stops on the metro from the main tourist locations, the area itself is much more quite and relaxed then the tourist trap hotels closer to Nove/Stare Mesto. Seemed pretty safe even when returning home past 11-12. The restaurants and cafes around also offer much better values then the center, sometimes 4-5 times cheaper for higher quality food, as long as you like mostly Czech food. Most have English(though with hilarious translations) menus. There is an internet cafe, book store and a few grocery stores around the place for small items.

Just arrived back from a four nights stay at the Novomestsky May 2006. The hotel was quiet, clean, rooms spacious, with separate shower and wc. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was so close to the centre - just a few minutes walk to Wenceslas Square, Opera and Old Town etc, and close to trams for trip to the castle. we would not hesitate to stay there again. Excellent value.

We recently spent four lovely nights at the Residence Nosticova in a beautiful location in the Mala Strana (Little Neighborhood) of Prague. In easy walking distance of major sights, yet slightly off the beaten tourist track, the hotel was a respite from the busy streets of Prague. The architectural features were quite lovely, the service was attentive, breakfasts were tasty, and our dinner at the Alchymist Restaurant in a gorgeous Moroccan-style tent was delicious and atmospheric. All in all a magical stay. R. Vogel,New York City

Booked this hotel as part of flight package with BMI Baby. The 20 minute walk to the city centre is no problem but there is a metro station nearby if you prefer. Our room was beatuiful with plenty of space and period furniture (art deco style) and the staff were brill. I had checked out the commnets on tripadvisor before we booked and I can only agree with most visitors that the hotel offers excellent value if you plan to visit this lovely city.

We just returned from eight days at the Mucha. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. It had just the European atmosphere we were looking for, not a cookie cutter American chain hotel. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and had a lot of character. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Being American, we're not used to such generous breakfasts, but you couldn't ask for more. Eggs and pancakes could be ordered fresh, or the selection on the tables was extremely generous. Their yogurt may be the best I've ever tasted! The Mucha was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Sometimes we walked and sometimes we took the Metro. The walk was short, and interesting and the Metro was so easy and economical to use. We got a 7 day pass. We could not have hoped for more and would highly reccommend the Mucha Hotel.

This is our 4th visit to Prague and this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Excellent location! Our room was fantastic and the food in the hotel was so good. They make their own really fab pizza's and tirimasu. We ate in both the cafe and also the Club Restaurant in the cellar where you receive 15% off if you are a guest at the hotel, this was really nice for a special occasion. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return there again in the future.

We were in this hotel in March 07 and we thought the hotel was excelent. It is right in the middle of Prague and the rooms are great. Really good value for the price you pay. The only not so good thing to mention is that the breakfast is not great and the receptionist was quite unfriendly on arrival, probably because she was getting a bit stressed as there were quite a lot of people at the reception. But appart from that, all really worth it.

(accommodation in hotel Marriott)
Stayed at the Marriott over Aug Bank Holiday Weekend. Is a typical Marriott, very well looked after, good large rooms with good facilities, including large flat screen TV's. The hotel itself has a leisure centre and casino and restaurant/ bar in the lobby area. Although in the lobby, the bar and restaurant have a good atmosphere. The location is within about a 10 min walk to the old town square and Jewish Quarter. All the main sights are pretty much walkable. Would go back to this hotel if visiting Prague again.

I moved to the Marriott after I was robbed at an apartment I was renting. It's pretty much a standard Marriott, but the staff was more delightful than usual, the security made me very comfortable after what had happened (though I don't consider Prague an unsafe city), and the location can't be beat. All in all, comfortable and delightful. Highly recommended.

This hotel is one of the best i've stayed in. The beds are comfy (it was two singles pushed together but not much a problem) and our room was large. It was well furnished and the bathroom was also excellent. You will be well situated if you stay in this hotel. It is within walking distance of every major attraction but well enough out of it not to have your sleep disturbed! The hotel staff are friendly and the breakfast was ok... lots of eggs though but it gets you well geared up for walking. Highly recommended.

we had a great stay. the hotel is a good value for the price. It is out of down town but its very close to a metro station that is only 2 stops from downtown. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is new so everything looks great. Nicer than a budget hotel. The staff was very nice and everyone spoke at least a little english. The breaksfast was filling no complaints. The trolley that passes out front can be a little loud. They were very flexible with our check-in we arrived on an overnight bus at 6am and they let us check in then for that night.

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights and was very impressed - the building and furnishings are beautiful - the staff are highly professional, friendly and take great pride in their hotel. Had the most amazing stay here. Booked through after doing the research on trip advisor. I knew it was a little walk out of town, I found the journey pleasant even cold in November. The room was great. I loved the free mini bar, although caused my boyfriend by using some for the free beer on my hair to make it shinier. The breakfasts were lovely. Definitely take your swimming costume so you can enjoy the spa, the whirlpool and scented showers were such a treat. I'd definitely go back. Book a table on the heated terrace at Kampa Park. It's expensive but if you forego the wine it isn't so hard on the credit card and the food is amazing.

Read the Trip advisor reviews and booked the Hotel through for 3 night stay in 2 rooms. The Hotel location is perfect for all the main attractions being at the end of Charles Bridge, a short walk to the Castle or Old Square. We stayed in the delux rooms (210 and 204) which were enormous and both had balconies from one of which you could see the bridge and river. The rooms were spotlessly clean, only strange thing was that there was no Shower curtain around the bath or plug for the basin but don't let that put you off staying at this great Hotel. We have recomended it to several of our friends in the UK. The continental buffet breakfasts were excellent so there was no excuse for being hungry. Kampa island is very nice and quiet with some good eating places on it and yet only 100 yards from bustle of Charles Bridge. Thanks Kampa Garden Hotel for a great stay.

My wife & I stayed at the Hotel Jeleni Dvur in Prague from Aug 12 to 17. The hotel is only a short drive from the airport, taxi cost was 600 - 700 CK (£15 - £17). The hotel is situated just outside the city centre & 2 minutes walk from Prague Castle, there is also a tram stop right outside the hotel with two services running either way every 5 minutes to & from city centre, the tram journey is only 10 minutes. The hotel is clean & tidy & offers an excellent continental breakfast to get your day started, the hotel staff are extermely helpful & all speak good english. Rooms at the front of the hotel do suffer from a bit of noise from outside traffic but nothing exterme, as the area is more suburban. I would recommend this hotel as a good budget hotel for anybody as it offers good value for money as well as being a very good hotel.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days in March of 2006. It was a little difficult to find but it was worth it. The hotel seems to have undergone a complete renovation. I think they even have free parking if you have a car. The place was VERY nice. Lots of old warm charm and modern updates. The room was very large and had everything we would want. The bathroom was unbelieveable! It was so big and modern. Even a warmer to keep the floor warm. We could not have asked for anything more. The breakfast was very large with all sorts of wonderful interesting things to eat. The breakfast room was very interesting with lots of charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reception lady went out of her way to be helpful and kind to us. The rail is right outside the front door and could not have been more easier to get to. We even walked to the castle. It was only a couple of short blocks. I would certainly stay here again. It was MUCH more than I had hoped for.

This hotel is delightful and in a great location. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are lovely. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The hearty breakfast was a good start to the day and the cozy room was a great place to return to each day after sight seeing. The location was very convenient as it is right beside the Charles Bridge, but it is located down a nice quiet street so its not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. There are beautifiul views of the river and the bridge from your room. A great stay- we would definately come back.

This was my second trip to Prague. I was delighted to get a room in U Karlova Mostu which is on the beautiful, elegant and QUIET Na Kampe, down one flight of steps from the Charles Bridge and therefore an ideal location for exploring. I had a very comfortable double room (for single use) which overlooked the square-very scenic beneath snow ! The ensuite bathroom was not enormous but certainly adequate, and I enjoyed the breakfasts (nice selection of hot and cold ; good coffee). The hotel was quiet and the reception staff always helpful. I took up their offer (made in advance) of a taxi to and from the airport. It made no difference to me but I would point out there didn't seem to be a lift on the premises.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights earlier this month. We were looked after superbly by the staff at this family run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a lovely suite on two levels and very much enjoyed dinner twice in the hotel's 'Ada' Restuarant. We particularly liked the fact that this hotel was well placed for seeing Prague on foot. It was a haven from the throngs of people visiting the castle area which is now very touristy. I would certainly stay here again. We particularly appreciated the way the staff helped us arrange our train trip to Vienna, cars etc., and helped us with arrangements once we had left the hotel. Highly recommended and competitively priced.

My son and I enjoyed our stay of 3 nights at the hotel and found it to be one of the best and best serviced hotels we ever stayed in. We had no complaints regarding the front desk , we found everyone genuinely friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival following a long transatlantic flight we were offered a room in which to rest, till our room was ready. The hotel is very quiet and the minimalism characteristic of the hallways adds to the sense of serenity. The breakfast is truly gourmet, the rooms are beautifully and gracefully appointed, the amenities are all upscale, and best of all they have certain interest rates that make the stay in this truly excellent establishment also affordable. I usually do not write comments on my travel experiences, even though I am an enthusistic reader of these pages, but wanted to add my thoughts about this truly gracious establishment.

The Iron Gate hotel is in a very old building with lots of winding corridors, huge rooms, beautiful painted ceilings and plenty of charm and character. It is certainly not a modern, plastic building! We had a superb suite with huge lounge area, two bathrooms and a kitchen dining area. Comfortable beds and good pillows and bedding. Staff were without exception friendly and helpful - especially those in reception and the concierge. The collection and return to the airport was efficient and swift with a friendly helpful driver who, like all staff spoke good English. The hotel is a beautiful old building where the staff are warm, welcoming and extremely efficient. Our spacious suite was on three levels and like the rest of the hotel, it was spotless. The hotel car met us and returned us to the airport on time. For breakfast there is a superb choice which you can eat inside or outside in the pretty courtyard. Despite being hard to please, we cannot fault Iron Gate in any way.

I stayed at the hotel with four friends when we visited Prague as part of a birthday celebration. The hotel was in a great location, only a15 minute walk from Wenceslas Square, and across the road from Florenc Metro Station, which is on two lines and only two stops from the very city centre. The hotel itslef was very clean, rooms were more that comfortable, and fairly spacious. The bathroom was again very clean with a good shower, although the water temperture was a bit tempermental and the toilet seat would not easily stay up. Some parts of the hotel need updating (the carpets), and a quicker lift needs installing but overall a very pleasant hotel and great base for the most fantastic of cities! I would definatly stay again and would certainly recommend the hotel.

We loved the stay at the hotel duo. Though it is a bit out ot the way do no let that put you off. There is a hotel shuttle bus to the nearest metro and it goes regularly. The hotel has 3 restaurants and we tried them all. Great! The breakfast is great. So much choice. A mixture of continental breakfast and cooked. It is a buffet so you can really fill yourself up. Also we tried the bowling alley a couple of times. Also we tried the pool which was nice. I was treated to a massage, a manicure, ear candles and my hair cut and blow dryed. It was lovely. There is so much to do there. The beer garden is nice in the evening. The staff are so helpful. The city of Prague is very pretty. We did so much walking! We liked the river cruise and went on it 3 times! Over the Charles Bridge there are street sellers with paintings and other goods. Also some people playing music. It is so relaxing. We also went on a horse and carriage ride. What an experience! What we like is the many different varieties of people and languages. Everyone seems to be so helpful wherever you go. What we found very useful was learning a few of their words such as please and thank you. They really appreciated you making the effort as it seems that many of the British seem to expect them to speak English!

I stayed at the Diplomat hotel from December 6-12, 2006. It was a perfect location. Not in the old town but only a few stops by metro from all the places you want to go. Took bus 119 after getting the week pass from the information desk in the airport. Only cost about $15 for unlimited transportation. Don't forget to stamp it on the bus when you first use it. The bus dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The room was very nice and so was the bathroom--duvet, down pillows, toiletries, great shower pressure, even liked the toilet paper!!! The buffet breakfast was perfect. All you can eat, both hot and cold food. It was totally adequate. Ate enough to get me through lunch. I felt safe going out at night to the opera and the symphony. The Christmas market in the main square was very pretty, didn't buy anything though, no comparison to the ones in Germany. The weather was wonderful, even though December is normally cold. Was perfectly comfy in my down coat and Merrell shoes. Did all my own touring. Went to Dresden by train on my own too. I would highly recommend this hotel (got it in a package through - excellent value with the airfare and hotel included).

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel in february with a friend. After a early morning and a long time travelling we finally made it to the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and the check in process quick. We made our way up to our room and loved the decor, the rooms look fantastic with good bathrooms and plenty of storeage space. Needless to say I wanted to jump in the shower - I was puzzled to find that there was no shower curtain, however i pressed on and as soon as i put the water on the whole shower head came away from the wall, we rang down to reception and where moved to a new room. I must say they handled the situation very well. The lack of a shower curtain meant that water went everywhere. Breakfast was a good selection of juices, pastries, bread, meats, cheeses, cereal and yogurts that were replenished regularly. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and it was only a few minutes walk to wenceleas square.

We were bookd for three nights at this hotel, on reaching the place we were told that they are fully booked. I was dissapointed at first but then they said they will put us up at the Marriott executive apartments, which we agreed. They took us there, picked us up next morning to have breakfast at the courtyard, gave us a complimentary cocktail drink at the bar. The second day there was a bottle of wine and goodies waiting for us when we came back to the hotel after sighseeing. The breakfast was very good, good selection of cereals, pastries, they served us hot buffet at the table, like fried eggs etc. Staff very helpful, we used to book our restaurants through them. airport transfer, posting postcards, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Although the hotel is not in the centre of the city, its near a metro station and tram stop, very convenient, near a shopping mall as well. We had an excellent time.

Just to second a lot of the other reviews about this hotel. It was an excellent experience. We redeemed Marriott points and could not have been happier. The hotel is not in the heart of Prague but that was acutally a blessing considering how crowded the more historic parts of town were. It was a relief to get out of the tourist center and be in a slightly more real neighborhood. The guest room was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, and linens crisp and fresh. Hotel staff were friendly and eager to help. Though I am not a huge fan of malls, the one across the street from the hotel was quite convenient. We ate breakfast at the Czech version of Starbucks and stocked up on water and snacks for our room. There is also a pharmacy in the mall. With a child in tow, these things matter. Public transport from this hotel is a cinch.

We stayed here for 3 nights during November and had a lovely stay. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist, and our room was fantastic - large, great decor and so quiet! The location was perfect, just a few minutes from the castle and bridge, which was ideal as neither of us had been to Prague before. It was also very easy to get to from the airport, just a couple of tram stops and the airport bus, which took about half an hour. Breakfast was good too. The only negatives were that there were a lack of veggie hot options for breakfast, a different person on reception was less friendly when we were checking out, and there was no internet access. However, we had a lovely trip and would happily stay there again.

The hotel staffs were friendly and helpful. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the Lobby, no bar but there is a small selection of alcohol which can be purchased from the reception. Our room was very clean and quiet although there was an old musty smell when you first enter. As for the room, when we first entered the room I thought it was a bit bare, but very clean. It was really spacious, with a closet, an armchair and a desk and a chair. The twin beds looked unconfortable at first... but far from it. We slept like babies. The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was amazing. Breakfast was also fine, with a good variety of food. Also, the area is very quiet but safe to walk around at the same time. I liked the idea of the magnetic key that they give you at reception to open the front door at night. All in all, an excellent hotel that I would recommend. And I would definitely stay there again.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. We were there at the tail end of our honeymoon, and we called ahead to extend our stay so that we would arrive one day earlier than we originally booked for. When we got there, they seemed surprised to see us, but they did in fact have a room for us. The room was nice, well decorated. The space around the bed was a little snug, but there was also a hallway. The bathroom was very nice. Everything was perfectly clean. The 24-hour internet room and the breakfast were a nice touch. We were able to book a taxi to the airport through them as we planned our trip home.

I and my girlfriend, Sara, spent 6 days in Prague as present for her birthday. We stayed at the Claris Hotel. There, we found very pleasant people. We even received a nice surprise . The day of Sara's birthday we found a bottle of champaign in our room as gift from the hotel. We really appreciated that so much. The hotel was extremely clean, rooms very confortable, the location was very close to the underground, and near there were lots of restaurants. You can even walk to the old town from there, as I and Sara often did. Prague is magic and mysterious and we wish to come back to visit it again. Of course, we will book at the Claris Hotel again, because it is the best place to stay in Prague in terms of quality/price ratio.

just back from Prague. Hotel city centre was ideally situated for exploring all the areas you would expect to visit. The breakfast was interesting and there is certainly something for everyone. Lovely bread rolls but don't put jam with them as they have salt crystals and are for the cheese, ham etc. Bathroom large and very clean with a powerful shower. The room was average with two big windows looking onto the road at the front. There were some, probably, long term building works going on just outside so windows had to be kept closed against the noise. Obviously not a problem in feb but might be a problem in warmer weather. All in all we had a great, if tiring 4 days. We would recommend a meal in Mlejnice which is a basic looking pub/restaurant. Of particular note was the delicious duck breast with blackcurrant sauce and the cabbage pancakes (much better than it sounds). If you turn into Zelezna from the old town square then right onto Kozna you will find it about halfway down on the left.

Hello, I stayed in the this hotel last weekend, despite the reviews, I knew I was running a risk, so here is my review. The Location was perfect, 4 minute walk to the main sights, the construction outside the hotel wasn't so bad at all, the room that I was staying had double windows, which really helped, but I brought ear plugs just incase. We had curtains, and the bathroom was perfect, shower was good, the beds were actually very comfortable and the pillows were great also. The room for the two of us for two nights with breakfast cost €129.00, cheaper then a B & B in ireland, so it was very good value for money. The breakfast was fine, cereal, bread, 2 types of cheese, scrammbled egg, hot dog sausage, mixed fruit, diluted orange, tea, coffee. Really for the price it was perfect. I would stay here again, and if your looking for a good cheap weekend break, this is perfect. Dee from Ireland

Our family spent two nights at Capri hotel in Feb. 2007. We had one family with 3 members (1 child) with only 1 room. We have stayed twice at other Prague hotels which were a lot more expensive. Hotel Capri was really valuable for its rate (35 euro per night). The staff was extremely helpful in every way. The room was very nice and modern, looking like they had been recently updated. It was not right in the city centre, but with tram it was really fast.

We stayed here for two nights. We were looking for a place to lay our heads at the end of rather eventfull walking/sightseeing holiday. This fit the bill perfectly. Low cost and just a place to sleep. The rooms were clean, warm and we didn't find them especially noisy at all. But we were so tired I don't think we'd have heard a thing. Breakfast was set up each morning and catered for all tastes. Even my 7 year old loved it and he's picky. We needed two rooms for this stay. One happened to be on the 3rd floor and the other on the 2nd. I'd be happy to stay here again on our next trip to Prague. It was quite easy to get to all the places we wanted to see from this location as well. Just a tram ride away. Also be sure to visit the small shops and bakery in this area. Some real bargains to be had. Don't miss the Pizza/Italian place joined to this hotel is a nice spot to eat after a tired day.

We had 2 different rooms during our stay, because of the need to stay an extra night. The first room (#3) was HUGE, actually too big for us. It had 2 bedrooms on different floors. The master bedroom was on bottom floor of apartment, and 2nd bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Kind of a pain to walk upstairs to bathroom, but would be perfect for a family. Our second room (#6) was wonderful. Cute little kitchen with all the trimmings. Bathroom was small but nice. It had 2 bedrooms also, but felt much warmer than our first room because it was on one floor. The staff was amazing. I had a horrible toothache when we arrived, and the girl at reception called a Pharmacy and spoke Czech to the man and described what I needed. We were un-characteristically needy because of my toothache, and they went out of there way to help with anything we needed. I definitely recommend this place--great for anyone, and perfect for families or groups. Enjoy Praha!

A friend and I just returned from Prague and our accomodations at Hotel Cerna Liska were absolutely wonderful. After staying the week before in the Hilton in Budapest we wondered how much "roughing it" we had in store for Prague. We were delightfully surprised. It was right in the middle of everything! Literally. The staff was more than helpful and the rooms were immaculent. I am already planning a trip there in a few months and this is will be my hotel of choice!!!

This hotel is definately in the best location in prague. We were on our honeymoon in April, we arrived to find we had been upgraded. (thank you so much) Our room was beautiful, we had a view over old town square and looking directly to the church. My husband was totally blown away, he could have a shower looking out over the square. We would honestly say the cerna liska was by far the cleanest, best appointed and most important had the most comfortable beds of all the hotels we stayed in europe. We walked everywhere in prague, no need for public transport, as the hotel is central to all the tourist spots. Breakfast was great, and the service was faultless.. We loved prague and staying at this hotel really made our honeymoon..

(accommodation in hotel Bila Kuzelka)
I stayed in the Bila Kezelka for a long weekend with my boyfriend in June and can confidently say we will be going back. We were somewhat familiar with Prague when booking as we spent a week there in 2002 and so we were keen to stay near the Charles Bridge as it is so central. Location-wise we could not have been happier-our room looked right onto the edge of Charles Bridge - and we were also delighted to be upgraded to a suite (not sure why as we only booked and paid a room rate). The suite was fabulous-beautiful large wooden floored sitting room with leather corner couch and chair, and the beds were extremely comfortable. On the downside - there was a terrible thunderstorm while we were there which caused a leak into our room. This is surprising as the hotel has been renovated recently - although we are not sure but were told it may have been caused by someone leaving a window open on the floor above us. It did not cause too much of a problem however. In summary the location is excellent, the room was gorgeous and comfortable and the staff were very firendly. Would thouroughly recommend this hotel.

Sir/Madam, I am sending you this e-mail to say a big thank you and congratulations for the wonderful service you provide at Hotel Beránek. My friend and myself had booked a Flyaway package with Air Malta which included accommodation at the City Club Hotel in Sokolska Street. When we checked in (on 15 August), we were told that it was overbooked (even though we had booked and confirmed in April) and that they arranged for us to stay at Hotel Beránek from 15 to 22 August 2007. I am so glad this happened. We were very satisfied with all the services provided at the hotel ... from the helpful receptionists, to the wonderful buffet breakfast and friendly people handling the breakfast room, to the cleanliness and modern room provided. Both my friend and myself have travelled to a lot of countries in good hotels, but we have never been so satisfied as we have been with your hotel. Furthermore, it's in a great location ... so close to the centre, yet in a quiet area. I felt I had to thank you ... we had a great experience staying in Hotel Beránek. Looking forward to staying again in your wonderful hotel. Best regards, JESMOND ALFINO Malta

We enjoyed our stay at the Bellagio mainly because of the location, almost everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. I requested a room with air conditioning, since I found out through TA that not all of them had it; they gave us a room in the fifth floor (the attic) in which the view was limited as well as the size of the bathroom, otherwise, everything was fine.

I just wanted to say I like this hotel, tho the breakfast was quite small, I've like to have more choices, I ate the same breakfast everyday, I'm not saying the breakfast was bad, but I've like to have more choices as told. I'll give this hotel an 4 'cause I really enjoyed the stay. Me and my boyfriend had a great stay at hotel Atlantic and in praha overall. maybe we'll come again someday !

We stayed at the Archibald for three nights. Its an OK place. Modern, clean, quiet (our room was on an inside court.) But, in my view, if you are a first time tourist, it just too far from where you want to be. It is a long walk to the Old Town Square or the Charles Bridge from this location AND it is up a long hill. I would try to find a nice hotel closer to the areas of focus.

My husband and I have just returned from this hotel in Prague and loved it. I have been to Prague before but stayed further out of the city centre. The location of this hotel is perfect - you are right on the Old Town Square which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful anywhere - and you are within easy walking distance of almost all of the major sites. You are also on the doorstep of many of the tour companies for trips further afield. The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms and beds are large and the bathrooms new and very well appointed with large shower cubicle and seperate enormous bath which was the perfect way to relax after a day sightseeing. The view of the clock was a real bonus. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and there are lots of restaurants etc nearby which are cheaper than the ones at the hotel. We had no problems with noise from the Square in the evenings but did have double glazing.

Chose this hotel based on reviews in TripAdvisor and we were delighted! Great rooms: very large and furnished with antiques. Bathrooms were positively palatial. Excellent location right on Old Town Square. Our rooms did not face the square, so no view of the astronomical clock, but they were absolutely silent. Good breakfast, although not great. Only challenge was finding the reception desk, which is tucked behind a store and easy to miss.

After reading some of the reviews on the website I was a bit worried about what I was going to find, however I was pleasently surprised, we got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost about £30 between the two of us, the receptionist was lovely and spoke very good English, we had arrived before the check n time but only had to wait 30 minutes and was in our room by 11am. The room was clean and plenty of room for two people with tea making facilities, the bathroom was clean and modern with a hot powerful shower. The breakfast was ok, as you would expect in Europe, and the Metro station was literally 5 minutes away and the centre of old town prague was just 6 stops away. As for the noise complaints as per previous reviews we didn't experience any problems with thin walls as previously mentioned, all in all would recommend for cheap accomodation and great location.

I stayed there 4 nights, from 16 to 20 february. I am very pleased with this hotel. Of course it has no special features but it has all it needs for a budget hotel. The room I stayed in was very nice and warm (I had room 100 on the first floor) and the room was cleaned every day by the hotel's staff. This was quite impressing for me seeing as I've paid aproximately 80 euros for my entire staying. At breakfast we had a large choice and the food was plenty. So regarding the accomodation in itself I was very pleased with this hotel.

This hotel is only about 8 months old. It is very new and modern. We have just been to dubai and munich and I think the receptionists here were the the best! They were very friendly and easily approachable, very helpful indeed. They also provided us with a lot of suggestions of where to go for sight-seeing and feeding our hungry stomachs. The interior was very modern. Full tea and coffee facilities. Lovely pictures and photos on the wall. The bed was so comfortable. The colour decor was unique and interesting, yellow/black/red. So, the colour decor did stand out. One can spot the hotel from the end of the street. Overall, a good choice of hotel for everyone. We had a fantastic time.

We have been roaming around Europe for a couple of months and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as a base to explore Prague. This hotel stood out for its good faciliites and service. Rooms are modern, equipment works and staff actually try to help you. There is a striking red and yellow decor that definitely makes the hotel stand out from the stock-standard design seen in many other chains. Rooms were spacious, with tea and coffee facilities (a rarity in Europe!). Our king-sized bed was very comfortable.

(accommodation in hotel Amadeus)
Firstly, I should point out there are actually two hotels in Prague called Amadeus. This is the one on Slavojova located near to the Vysehrad Castle. The hotel is in two distinct blocks. The older part adjacent to the street has the larger and more elegant rooms whilst the new block to the rear has more compact rooms. (I only know this as I have stayed here twice!). The rooms are to a good standard and everywhere is very clean. The staff speak English and German to a high standard, they are friendly and helpful, though to be honest I had little reason to call on them.

(accommodation in hotel Amadeus)
We were moved from our original hotel to Hotel Amadeus due to a mistake the travel agent had made, and what a good move it was!! The rooms were a lot larger than our previous hotel, and the service was a lot friendlier. Our room was in the newer block, and had a nice big room and a bathroom with separate toilet. The rooms were always cleaned very efficiently, and there was no noise from road traffic. The breakfast buffet offered a selection of bread, cheeses and hams, along with some hot selections including sausages and eggs. The restaurant in the hotel did nice food, but if you want to experience Czech food, go to the centre. It took us around 25 mins to walk to the centre. Overall, a recommended hotel!

We loved this hotel. The rooms and facilities are fantastic and the staff extremely helpful. We are very picky travelers and stay in the best places whenever possible and this hotel qualifies. Unlike other reviewers we did not find the decor overdone. Who wants minimalist in this old historic city? We wanted atmosphere and got it. The staff booked opera, private tours and restaurants for us with ease. No hitches. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Travelled extensively and have to say the Alchymist is one of the best boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. Picked up at the airport by the concierge service even though we were late. The suite was magnificent and had the flowers and champagne we ordered. Service throughout the weekend superb. The restauarnt fabulous as was the bar where we had late night champagne cocktails. Visited the spa and had a wonderful Balinese massage. Location excellent on the classy side of Prague away from the Old Town but only a 5 minute walk to the Charles Bridge.Go to the Jewish Quarter and the wonderful St Vitius cathedral. Fabulous restuarants for a great romantic weekend - Kampa Park on the river, La Perle a Prague and the Blue Duckling.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights during the week before Christmas and was rather alarmed after reading the reports on tripadvisor. No need though, my room was clean, very spacious and we found the breakfast fine. I was worried about security but for about 50czk a day you can hire a safe box. The doors to the rooms do need to be pulled shut as this did catch me out after reading the report that they slammed shut. The bus stop is a minutes walk down the road and with the transport system in Prague as good as it is there is no need for taxis. £3 will get you a 3 day pass that lets you on bus, tram or underground. The staff at the hotel were friendly and polite and did their best to be helpful, even looking on the net for the footie results for my sister!!

This is a small hotel in a great location, Staff are very helpful and I would recommend this place to anyone, you get a free breckfast every morning in a little cafe accross the road, food is very nice, huge choice. The old town is less than a 5 min strole away and Wenceles Square s just over 5 mins in the opposite direction, Room was cleaned daily and was modern and very clean. I will be going back to Prague, and when I do I will be returning to The Accord Pension.

The hotel is ideally situated close to the old town square so is a good base for exploring the city. Don't be put off by the exterior, the rooms are on one floor of a four storey building and are secure. The rooms were recently refurbished and are clean and nicely presented, what you see in the hotels pictures is exactly what you get. We stayed for three nights and it was a perfect place for using simply as a place to sleep. The only negative aspect was the breakfast. It was provided by a bar around the corner, which was fine, but the voucher we were given only covered the cost of the cheapest things on the breakfast menu and so anything over that voucher value you have to pay for. Overall the price of the hotel is very reasonable, and I would recommend it to those who spend most of their time exploring.

Stayed here 8/06, needed to catch an early flight out of El Paso. About a 20 minute drive from the airport. Paid $32 plus tax & fees on Priceline - a great price. It is an extended stay hotel, so there is not really a lobby and kind of an awkward check-in - in the manager's office. All in all though it was OK. Room was clean, small with a kitchenette.

Dear Frantisek,
A quick note to say thank you for a pleasant stay at the hotel Praha 1. The transfer to the hotel that you arranged on our behalf was prompt and courteous. The hotel was clean and the well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful. When visiting a new country it is a great comfort to have a 24Hr reception that is manned by people who speak fluent English, as my Czech is not yet perfected!

If I were to make any suggestions they would be:
1. As the hotel faces a busy road it may be courteous to offer light-sleepers the rooms which face the rear, as noise is minimized.
2. When English people stop sight-seeing they like to drink tea! the rooms may benefit from tea & coffee making facilities.
P.S. The beer is lovely! Kind regards

Dear Katerina Lindauerova

Re: promised feedback I returned from Prague last week and was very pleased with the room in the Depandance of Hotel Anna. Everything was virtually brand new. However some visitors might be put off by the distance from the hotel, and the strange entrance! Also the need for unlocking 3 doors before reaching the room! Otherwise it was immensely enjoyable, and the breakfast was excellent. It's proximity to the metro and the 22 tram was a bonus.

We have just returned from a 3 day visit to Prague that was most enjoyable. Thank you for helping us to make a reservation at Hotel Denisa. Your service was very efficient. Thank you. We found the Hotel Denisa to be very convenient and excellent value for money. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel was very quiet and yet very conveniently located. As we arrived late evening having a hotel so near to the 119 bus terminus was an added bonus.

Thank you.
Ann Meadows.

Dear Jan Mestic

My wife and I spent last weekend in your lovely city. We booked our room at the Hotel Kampa through your service. We also arranged airport to hotel transfer.

We had a wonderful stay in Prague! The hotel was very nice, our room quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, very good.

The transfer to the hotel went without problems. The driver, a gentleman called Thomas, was courteous, friendly and punctual!

All over Prague we found the people friendly. and the fact that most shop assistants spoke some English was a great help! I'm sure we will return, perhaps at a warmer time of year!!

(accommodation in Hotel Elite)
Dear Frantisek

This email is just to thank you for all the arrangements you made for our trip to Prague last week.

We did not know where to look at first to find accommodation in Prague, but the website was easy to find on the World Wide Web, and much more informative than some of the British travel companies which had websites of Prague hotels. We found the information provided to be helpful, and the pictures of hotels and rooms to be most useful in deciding where to stay. The booking service was reliable, and you responded speedily to my requests on availability, and also when I confirmed my booking.

The Hotel Elite was very suitable to our needs. We liked its location, just a few minutes walk from the very centre of Prague, yet handy for the trams, and for the shops of Prikope. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was enjoyable in the cafe/bistro, and the bar could supply coffee as well at any time! The room itself was large and spacious, though perhaps a little dark. The bathroom was excellent - spacious and spotless. All in all, the hotel was exactly what we had hoped for our 4 day visit. And the bill was exactly as promised in your email.

We booked a taxi from the airport through you, and Tomas was waiting for us, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. His minibus could have taken 6 easily. We were sufficiently impressed to book him again for the return journey to the airport, and once again he arrived in good time, and ferried us back smoothly to the airport. The transfer arrangements worked very smoothly.

All arrangements went very smoothly, and we greatly enjoyed our trip to your beautiful city.

Thanks again for all your efforts.

On behalf of my party we would like to thank you very much for arranging the accommodation for us whilst staying in Prague.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We would recommend the hotel to other people.

Its location just close to the Charles Bridge was also a bonus for us all. Such splendid surroundings.

Thank you for all your very kind help. Our holiday was brilliant.

(accommodation in Hotel Beranek)
The rooms were clean and comfortable and subtley decorated. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was interesting to say the least, it provided a varied selection of quite unique choices which wasn't always to our preferance, however there was quite a selection regardless. The location was convenient to Wencelas Square, the metro and tram lines.
(accommodation in Hotel Beranek)
Hotel Beranek was a very nice hotel, and with some very nice rooms. There was a brilliant aircondition and all things were perfect.
